VOL 1: Let's Start at the Very Beginning

VOL 1: Let's Start at the Very Beginning

Let's just start this out by stating this is my first time ever writing a blog. I am not a good writer. I like shapes and colors. I do not know how to spell. I am terrible at grammar. It just is what it is folks. THIS BLOG IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN (lol who is shouting?). So, if that is all stuff you can't stand I would not follow this journey. If you like lighthearted story telling, cute greeting cards, and fun snack ideas continue on.

Anywho, what is this blog even about? Well, as the title of the blog suggests (Snackin' with Stack) I shall start off with my snack.

Today's snack: Harvest Snap Beans in Mango Chili Lime. Is this sponsored? No. Would I love that?! Obviously, yes. My review: love 'em. Crunchy, flavorful, a real afternoon pick me up.

Do you have snacks you think I should be munching on? I am open to suggestions. You let me know.

Okay, back to the blog. Here comes part two.

What's on the Desk Today: We are in full holiday mode over here. Taking glam paper photo shots and packing up holiday wholesale orders. I know... it's not even Halloween yet and I'm talking holidays. Gross.

And finally, part three. The short story section.

Today's Fun Story: How does one get into letterpress printing? Thanks for asking. When I graduated college I needed a job... a very common story. I was lucky to have an uncle who said - hey, move to South Bend and come work for this printing company. And then... well, I did. And I got to see loads of cool printing presses and paper cutters. I mean - isn't that what dreams are made of? Long story short, I got the printing bug. Lol. What am I even talking about?

Fast forward I found a little Pilot table top press on Facebook Marketplace of all places. I convinced my husband, Colin, that he should drive to a small town in Wisconsin pick it up and put it in our basement. And that, my friends, is how I got into letterpress printing. I bought a book and figured how to use my little press with a lot of trial and error. Then I obsessively looked at bigger presses. But that's a story for another day :)

Stay tuned! Vol 2 will come out when it comes out. IDK the schedule yet guys - it's a new thing.

I love your conversational writing style! Grammar is overrated. Thank you for sharing more about you and your journey with us. I’m exciting to follow along!

P.S. We need the details on those harvest snaps. They sound delicious!
